Collision - Oxford
Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision that happened yesterday (17th April).

At around 3.30pm a Scania HGV and a cyclist collided at the junction of Marston Road and Headington Road in Oxford.

The 45-year-old cyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital where she was treated for her injuries. She is currently in a serious, but stable condition

PC Nick Perks, investigating the incident, said: “The road was closed while police examined the scene. The area was busy at the time and if anyone witnessed the collision I would urge them to contact me.”

Anyone with information can contact PC Perks via 0845 8 505 505, or if you don’t want to talk to the police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
